Bio.

Michael served for almost a decade as a pastor, leading, teaching, equipping, and empowering both adult & student leadership teams and also has six years of teaching/classroom experience. Most recently, he has served as a Communications Director on a pastoral lead team in Newbury Park, CA providing strategic, organizational planning.

He studied Marketing & Graphic Design, receiving a Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts from the University of North Texas and a Master’s degree in Christian Education from Dallas Theological Seminary.

Born and raised in the Bay Area, Michael has lived in Texas and Idaho, and completed mission work in Egypt, Mexico, and Cuba. Next year he will be celebrating 24 years of marriage to his incredible wife and best friend, Susan. Dr. Susan Barrett is a licensed clinical psychologist offering cognitive behavioral therapy from her private practice in Camarillo, CA.
